9/27/2022 0 Comments Super Powered Immune SystemYou may not know this but you have a hidden superpower. Like Professor X of the X-Men your mind is capable of incredible feats. This is no comic book story though, but a truly proven ability to influence your body chemistry. From increasing your body’s killer cells to directly increasing your levels of IgA you can make big changes in your body in an incredibly short period of time. And what does this ability mean for you? It means you have the ability to fight off infections, restore your gut health and possibly overcome disease conditions all with your deep inner mind. In the words of The Iceman Wim Hoff, who climbed Mount Everest in nothing but bare feet and shorts, “if you can learn how to use your mind, anything is possible." Quieting The Conscious MindIn order to access this superpower that we all possess, we must learn to control the conscious mind, even if only for short periods of time initially. Control of the conscious mind is easily ceded to our subconscious inner parts, our body and the chaos of the outer world. With practice however you can tame the mind and step into the fullness of its creative capacity. The first step to controlling the conscious mind is to quiet it by narrowing its focus. Inducing a self-hypnotic state is simply a matter of giving that overactive mind a focal point. When you do this you learn to create an inner quietude that can then be accessed at any point. With this now tamed conscious mind you have access to the greater aspects of the subconscious mind which is where your real creative capacity exists. In hypnosis this is an induction and is used at the beginning of the process of hypnosis. You can learn to do this for yourself by simply performing a progressive relaxation. Focus on your body and working your way up starting at your feet, simply focus on that body part and tell it to relax. Do this all the way up to the top of your head. This process is giving your conscious mind something specific to focus its attention and will quiet it from having other thoughts. It may take a few days of doing this to get your mind to quiet but you can absolutely do it. Try using some white noise in the background to drown out other distractions. Your Control Room![]() Wouldn’t it be great if we had a central control room that allowed us to have conscious control over all of our bodily activities? With the power of your deep inner mind you have just that. Superman had his Crystal Cave and now you have your Control Room. Science continues to prove the power of creative visualization and with your Control Room you are able to measurably change things in your body, just think of the possibilities. In your Control Room you can reduce pain, slow your heart rate, increase immune activity and more. Sometimes even things that you might believe are impossible can occur just by using the control room. Just use your creativity to discover new ways you can utilize this Control Room. So how do you access this incredible room? It’s easy. Just do the same quieting of the mind progressive relaxation mentioned earlier and then imagine, sense, feel or see your Control Room. It might look like a NASA control center with panels and computers on all of the walls and a central control area. Perhaps there is a hologram of your body in the middle of the room that can be rotated around and zoomed in on. Maybe there are dials and knobs and slider controls to influence whatever part of your body your biochemistry you with to control. Want to feel warmer hands and feet? Simply slide that temperature control up just a bit until it feels just right. Want to fight off the Winter cold and flu? Try turning that dial over there to increase your B-Cells and T-Cells. The possibilities are limitless, all you need to do is spend time there and you’ll start to notice the changes more and more over time as you use it. Remember that guy Wim Hoff I mentioned earlier? He participated in a study in which he was intentionally infected with a serious pathogen and not given any antibiotics. Instead he insisted that he could use his mind to fight off the infection and you know what? He did just that and so did a few of his students who also participated in the study! Deepening Your SuperpowersGoing deeper into the state of hypnosis allows you to have even more influence over your body, emotions and behaviors. In fact the more times you go into deep hypnosis the more effective you become at using the power of your mind. Try connecting with your Control Room every day for 10 days and keep track of your symptoms. Rate them at the beginning from 1-10 and then after the 10 days and see what improvements you notice.
Maybe you are a 7/10 feeling cold in your hands and feet and then at the end you are down to a 3/10. That’s pretty good right? Or maybe you’re coming down with a mild cough and it’s a 3/10 at the beginning but by day 10 its completely gone. Wouldn’t you love to experience that kind of evidence? Give it a try and comment below after you’ve done it to let me know what changes you experienced.
